What does this course cover?
In this course you will explore the core principles and practices of Chaplaincy from a Christian Perspective. You will develop the importance of communication skills, and deepen your understanding of models of Chaplaincy. You will understand the contribution of Chaplaincy within community life.
Learners will require a basic level of literacy and numeracy, access to a PC, and a minimum age of 16.
This course is designed for individuals seeking to develop spiritual caregiving, clergy members, pastors, leaders, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in providing emotional and spiritual support in various settings such as hospitals, prisons, religious settings, or the military.
Formative and summative assessments will take place throughout the course.
