Accreditation is the process of officially recognising someone as having gained a qualification to perform a particular learning , knowledge or activity. The term accreditation means ‘certification, endorsement, qualification, recognition, approval.’ Accredited courses are regulated an d overseen by the respective Awarding Body. Accreditation is granted to providers following a quality assurance process that demonstrates the quality of training offered by that training provider.
Accreditation demonstrates whether an educational institution or training provider meets or exceeds the basic quality standards stipulated by an awarding body. It also helps to protect prospective students to decide on acceptable institutions or training providers for enrolment. Accreditation also verifies that an organisation or training provider is quality conscious, has a sound administrative, operational and oversight practices. It also gives confidence to investors of an organisations' status.

Post Centre Accreditation - standardisation, assessment, learner feedback, Internal moderation processes, managing external moderation, completion of centre self evaluation report.
